Priceline Group CEO Darren Huston Talks Direct Booking, HomeAway and Unicorns

Priceline Group's endeavor to build a successful home rental product is demonstrating a test, yet CEO Darren Huston keeps up the organization had no enthusiasm for acquiring HomeAway on account of its plan of action and the staggering expense.




 
At the ITB Berlin Convention 2016 toward the beginning of today, Priceline Group CEO Darren Huston said he's irritated by the endeavors of hotel brands to push back against online booking sites.

The discussion with Phocuswright organizer Philip Wolf, which incorporated a discourse of Priceline Group's working structure, enabled Darren Huston to give his real appraisal of why he had no enthusiasm for obtaining HomeAway before its deal to Expedia a year ago.

On the two fronts, Priceline's association with hotel chains and its choice not to endeavor to procure HomeAway, Darren Huston was explaining on comments he's made in the course of the most recent couple of months.
